Le nouveau b\u00e2timent devait \u00eatre situ\u00e9 sur un terrain disponible provenant d&rsquo;un site pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment am\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie nord de Waterloo. Une section abrite les bureaux administratifs, les salles de r\u00e9union et les aires de r\u00e9ception du public. La deuxi\u00e8me section offre un espace de stockage pour les camions de ligne, une salle de contr\u00f4le des op\u00e9rations et un garage de r\u00e9paration de v\u00e9hicules pour la flotte de Waterloo North Hydro. Il existe des zones de haute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;installation, strat\u00e9giquement \u00e9loign\u00e9es des espaces publics et ouverts con\u00e7us pour une plus grande participation de la communaut\u00e9.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-gray-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fd65f131da99671b20615d3f062f4c88\"><strong>Durabilit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La conception certifi\u00e9e LEED Argent int\u00e8gre un syst\u00e8me de chauffage et de refroidissement g\u00e9othermique et un bassin de gestion des eaux pluviales. L&rsquo;enveloppe de b\u00e2timent \u00e0 haute performance cr\u00e9e une coque bien isol\u00e9e. Il y a des douches et des vestiaires pour encourager ses employ\u00e9s \u00e0 faire la navette et, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une technologie innovante de d\u00e9tournement des eaux us\u00e9es, l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;eau potable est r\u00e9duite de 100 %.
