Hamilton Health Sciences a command\u00e9 un plan directeur pour trois sites\u00a0: l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019Hamilton, l\u2019H\u00f4pital Juravinski et l\u2019H\u00f4pital St.\u00a0Peter\u2019s. L\u2019objectif \u00e9tait d\u2019\u00e9laborer un plan de d\u00e9veloppement prioris\u00e9 pour \u00e9clairer sa planification des immobilisations. Chaque site poss\u00e8de des caract\u00e9ristiques et des densit\u00e9s uniques, avec des d\u00e9fis sp\u00e9cifiques concernant la relation du b\u00e2timent avec le site. <\/p>\n\n

Le rapport comprenait des sc\u00e9narios \u00e0 moyen et \u00e0 long terme pour les trois sites, incluant des concepts de conception universelle dans chaque h\u00f4pital, et des zones intercal\u00e9es pour l\u2019enseignement, l\u2019apprentissage par simulation et la recherche avec une dispersion r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie de la technologie. En travaillant avec les microclimats de chaque site, les solutions propos\u00e9es ont am\u00e9lior\u00e9 le potentiel de connexion avec les communaut\u00e9s environnantes et les opportunit\u00e9s commerciales connexes. En plus de traiter les probl\u00e8mes d\u2019infrastructure des zones de construction, des syst\u00e8mes et de la rationalisation des services, l\u2019\u00e9tude a abord\u00e9 les questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la densit\u00e9 du site, \u00e0 la circulation, au stationnement et aux possibilit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement futur.
