Unit 318, Stinson Lofts
Unit 318 within the Stinson School Loft Condominium is a multi-level loft with soaring ceilings, exposed brick and wood beams, and flooded with natural light thanks to a wall of windows that greet you upon entry. When our client first purchased the property, it needed a refresh. Initially purchased and styled as a bachelor pad, the owners grew out of the original space. In 2017, mcCallumSather’s Liz Gabaldo completed a full interior renovation on the 1,200 SF unit, focused on an urban loft feel to suit the sophisticated lifestyle of its occupants.
The interior renovation, which spanned a year and a half and completed in phases, included two bathrooms, including the addition of a double vanity and claw tub within the master bathroom, the selection of art to add to the client’s already robust collection, and the replacement of the staircase, which now features a glass banister to provide a contemporary feel to the space whilst gaining additional light and views from the upper floor. Liz also fully redesigned the kitchen and styled the living areas, including a mix of specifically selected furniture pieces and the owner’s collection of antiques. Amongst his collection, and featured prominently in the space, is his desk originally featured in the television series Hannibal.
