We are thrilled to share that 1120 Ossington was recognized at the Wood Design & Building Awards, presented by the Canadian Wood Council, receiving a WoodWorks Ontario Wood Design Award.
Matt Bolen of mcCallumSather and Molly White-Williams of Assembly Corp. accepted the award on behalf of the project team at the ceremony last night in Vancouver.
Developed for St Clare’s Multifaith Housing Society, this 25-unit, deeply affordable housing project was built using mass timber and prefabricated construction, demonstrating how innovative design approaches can respond to the urgent need for supportive housing in Toronto.
Thank you to the Canadian Wood Council and WoodWorks Ontario for this recognition – and congratulations to St. Clare’s, Assembly, and all of our project partners who helped make this important work a reality.
