Brock University the Zone Fitness Centre

A groundbreaking ceremony is held for the Zone Fitness Centre expansion at Brock University Wednesday. The centre which opened in 2001 is currently the smallest of any Ontario University. Students last year voted in favour of funding the $6.8-million project which, will triple the size of the centre to 1,350 square metres. Funds will come from a $17 per credit fee students pay over a period of five years beginning in September 2020. The expansion will extend into the Walker Sports Complex courtyard but will not affect the pond or existing seating.
