Decarbonization by Design: Aligning Project Delivery with Climate Goals
How can not-for-profit organizations and long-term care providers realize their decarbonization goals through different construction delivery methods? mcCallumSather shares insights from across its project portfolio, including work in the affordable housing and long-term care sectors. With in-house architecture and mechanical teams, they bring an interesting perspective to sustainable design. With a strong focus on collaborative, team-based delivery and iterative design, the firm has recently completed its first Passive House project and secured multiple rounds of funding for long-term care retrofit projects.
Drawing from both new builds and deep retrofits, this session will examine how different project delivery models can help accelerate decision-making, strengthen cost control, and advance shared decarbonization outcomes.
